Set up your profile
Upload a résumé, correct what the parser got wrong, and every application after that is filled from it.
This is the one step worth doing slowly. The details here are what gets typed into every form from now on, so a mistake made once is a mistake made two hundred times.
Your résumé
Upload it and it is parsed into a structured profile — roles, dates, education, skills, the numbers you have actually claimed. It is also the document that gets tailored per job, if you turn tailoring on.
Your details
The parser fills in what it can find. Go through the grid and fix the rest: the fields it leaves blank are the ones a form will later stop on and ask you about, in the middle of an application.
Sign in to the job portals
LinkedIn, Indeed and Naukri show nothing at all to a signed-out browser. Setup opens the pipeline’s own Chrome so you can sign in once, and the session is kept.
The ATS boards need none of this. Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, SmartRecruiters and Oracle Cloud all work straight away.
Résumé tailoring
Optional, and off until you ask for it. With it on, every application carries a résumé rewritten for that specific job — the same record, re-said in the role’s own vocabulary. Counts stay frozen, education and publications are never touched, and every number comes from what you already claimed.
